3.2.3 – Honda Heavy Duty BrushCutter Guard

The aim of this upgrade guard, is to provide three improvements to that of the standard Honda Guard.

THE FIRST, is to make a guard that will take the punishment that a BrushDestructor blade throws at it when clearing bush for fire hazard reduction.

THE SECOND, is to work with the blade, to direct tough long grasses and vines up and over the gear head, to prevent entangling the gear head and stalling the brush cutter.

THE THIRD, is to provide a guiding edge for smooth cutting of smaller springy saplings and branches that would normally bounce out of the way without the guide edge.

Below is one modified Honda grass guard prototype, to evaluate the best design to prevent blade stall, by efficiency clearing away all cut material and directing it away from the operator.
